This is the 1915 Funk & Wagnall's dictionary that I bought today. It has 2800+ pages, and many, many illustrations! I love it!

I paid about the same as you would for a hamburger, french fries and a coke for it!!

This is something that I drew last night while on the phone. He's a puppet from the Cirque Du Soleil. He was a lot of fun to do!

Well, I should be in rare form today--Let's see--I was up this morning at 4:30 am. I mean that I was STILL up, had not gone to bed yet. It is now 8:12 am. I was woke up by a huge storm once, and by Petey the Wonderdog twice. Ummm...so, basically, I have had NO sleep. SHE WHO KNOWS EVERYTHING is coming over this morning, and we are suppose to go running around...LOL...oh..it's going to be a FUN day!!!LOL..Hopefully, my head won't fall off into a rain puddle...hehehhe.

I hope everyone has a beautiful, artistic day!!

Here's my lastest journal pages.

I have resisted the urge to call the Hillbillies today, simply because it's Christmas Eve--but ohhhh...you wait until Wednesday...LOL..I am going to call them everytime I hear a dog barking...LOL...this should become an interesting Hatfield's and McCoys...heheheh.

I cooked a huge dinner, and we shared it with our neighbors (brother and sister-in-laws)...So, hopefully they are making desserts and sweets, and MAYBE they'll bring me some....I had to cook enough to eat today, then some things to take tomorrow to my husband's family dinner....it's the only day of the year, that I spend more than 30 minutes cooking a meal..LOL

OOOHHHH...Christmas Eve morning...and I haven't been to sleep at all...LOL..why, you ask? Well..Petey the Wonderdog is after some stupid hillbilly's dog up the street, and they decided to call me at 1:30 a.m. and scream that my dog was keeping them awake. Dear Lord, don't let Petey get their doggie preggers--the puppies might be born with no intelligence, and no teeth...***evil snicker. Oh! Did I mention the hillbillies have like 50 hunting dogs, that bark and howl ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT--7 days a week??? So, of course--while this woman was screaming at me--and I was screaming at her--lol...I had to throw in some jabs about the barking hounds from hell...LOL. Anyway--other than that--it's been a wonderfully quiet peaceful night, and I can get up in about 4 hours, and start cooking Christmas dinner (for tonight and tomorrow night). I hope everyone out there has a beautiful Holiday and a wonderful time, and lots of joy. Also, take a moment, and please--remember the reason for the season!

Well--that was FUN! I called my partner/friend this morning in Canada! She is so sweet!!! Oh my, I bet she was surprised. I loved talking to her! I also woke up this morning to SNOW. Yesterday, I was in shorts--today--Snow. ****shaking head...some things I really miss about Florida--NO SNOW. I really, really dislike snow...lol. Petey's dog bowl had frozen water in it, and his food was like little ice cubes. I fried him up some steak (the cheap cubed kind), so that he would have a hot meal...LOL.

I have been having a fit lately with my blog "looking" like I want it to look! I guess I am going to have to hire one of the creative bloggers to help me..LOL..

Well..I really have nothing to say--I am just typing, and nit-picking my blog to death today, and TRYING to stay warm. I guess I better go get something to eat, and feed the husband.LOL. Everyone have a wonderful, warm, artful day!!!!

Today has been one of those weird "freak of nature" days. I was outside today in shorts and a t-shirt--and comfortably warm. Now, it's almost freezing, and they are calling for snow.**sigh. I dislike snow very much!

I kept putting off going to the grocery store, and now it's going to be COLD out there in the cruel world!LOL...Why, oh why do I procrastinate???? WHHYYYY????

Did anyone watch the mini-series "The Tinman"??? I thought it was pretty interesting!! A total different take on the Wizard of OZ...and why don't more people do art about the Wizard of Oz???hmmmmm....

I am winding down on my journals/altered books for a while. I can feel it coming to a close...I am burning out on it. I am ready to something else now. What should I do next?? Suggestions welcome!

I haven't been out blog hopping in over a month. I know everyone has forgotten me....***sigh...LOL..I guess I need to play catch up SOON!!

Sorry to be boring--nothing is happening around here. I am just glueing my life away! So, sweet, artful dreams...Goodnight!!

I have lost all track of my days...LOL..I almost realized it was Christmas time, but the weather turned warm, and POOF...I felt as though it was September again. So, now I am not mentally prepared for a fat, bearded man to be clomping around on my roof with his 8 flying reindeer. He needs to ring the doorbell...(LOL..which means he has to get past Petey the Meany Wonderdog...hehehhe)..what happens if he falls through the roof on his way to my house? My homeowner's insurance wouldn't cover the gigantic cost of replacing Santa Claus...lol.. I am sure if he comes here (I have been bad this year)--I am sure he'll fall through. Especially if he brings me what I want. (A Porsche)....ummmm....


I have been journaling, journaling, journaling...that's about it. I think my artistic muses have left me, I was going great for a while there--and now, I am just senselessly glueing stuff in my journals. No rhyme, no reason--just constantly glueing, glueing, glueing. This is something akin to what I feel like I'd be doing if I were sitting in a mental hospital. Glueing, glueing, glueing...

Well...I still have my head stuck in journal-land, and altered books. lol....Nothing much going on here...we had to go to a family Christmas party on Saturday..It was the typical thing..presents and food, and people that you only see once or twice a year...LOL..I suppose my husband had fun. It's his family.LOL...Nothing else here--just living the boring life! Have a wonderful day!!
