This is for week 4 of Nancy B's collage challenge--

Good evening!! I have put a whole bunch of new freebies up for you all!! Hope you enjoy them!

Last night, I was reading one of Teesha Moore's Art and Life magazines, and she mentioned something in there--which lead me to look at something else, and that led somewhere else, and at the end, I ran across this: (I liked it).

Promise Yourself-

To be strong so that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit thepresence of trouble.
The Optimist Creed was authored in 1912 by Christian D. Larson, an advocate of positive thought.

So, today--this got me thinking, and I could be so much a better person than I am. I have made some mistakes this year. I weakly allowed one person to make me say mean things, and influence me in a very negative way..which I understand was her insecurities, and negativities coming out in MY LIFE. But, she has been gotten rid of, and so I have been working on being positive..yes, even while facing CLEANING the art room...LOL..

note: This weekend's pictures of my studio were of what I had pulled thus far out of the bathroom, which I have been using for storage, and in no way is that what my studio looks like on a day to day basis...LOL.

Just thought I would share...

Live Artfully!

This is fabulous!

I live by that creed, harder than you think but extremely rewarding!

Like that is gonna happen in my life unless I become a saint...

Thank you for all your sharing :)
Those words are great, but I know they are sometimes hard to follow. It's fabulous that you are getting rid of that negative energy. I must do the same!
It's often difficult and as long as we have the right 'intention' then we are on the right track. Love your art - you constantly inspire me!
